Launched two years ago by Saipol, this renewable energy is the first to come from French agriculture and offers its users the possibility of decarbonising France’s roads a little more each day. In fact, the use of Oleo100 reduces CO2 emissions by 60% and fine particle emissions by up to 80% while remaining 100% biodegradable and renewable.
Its characteristics are fully in line with the sustainability approach adopted by the VIVESCIA Group. Moreover, it will not only be a renewable energy, but also locally produced. There are three Oleo100 fuel production sites in France and VIVESCIA will rely on the Mériot site (Aube), in the heart of its Cooperative’s territory and in the immediate vicinity of its VIVESCIA Transport agency based in Bologne (Haute-Marne). This geographical proximity will allow for “from field to wheel” direct distribution.
Initially, VIVESCIA Transport will test Oleo100 on its new vehicles bought from Renault Trucks, Saipol’s partner in a joint commercial offer.
