In line with its ambition to become the leader in plant-based solutions dedicated to the food, agricultural and environmental transitions, Avril has announced the following appointments in its “Avril Oilseed Processing and Renewable Energies” and “Avril Consumer Goods” divisions:
Marie SAGLIO, currently CEO of Lesieur, is appointed CEO of Saipol.
Christophe BEAUNOIR, currently CEO of Saipol, is appointed CEO of Lesieur.
These appointments will enable the Saipol and Lesieur teams to benefit from a fresh perspective to continue to deliver the commitments taken for developing the Group, for Serving the Earth, in the strategic roadmap. Marie and Christophe will also be tasked with facilitating the rollout of business cross-functionalities between the two business units, as well as developing projects of common interest, especially for upstream agriculture and the “Ferme France”.
These appointments will take effect on April 2, 2024.
Christophe Beaunoir has been Chief Executive Officer of Saipol since December 2018, and has accelerated the transformation of this subsidiary into a French leader in oilseed processing through an ambitious diversification strategy from upstream to downstream.
Marie Saglio joined Lesieur in February 2018 as Managing Director. She has worked to reaffirm Lesieur’s role as a leading company producing locally, with partner farmers and with the aim of eating better, while actively developing the company’s portfolio of activities, in France and abroad.
